WHAT IS URBAN AXE THROWING?
Urban Axe Throwing, brought to the United States by Urban Axes in 2016, is the delightfully forbidden act of taking a break from the monotony and stress of city living and throwing an axe at a wooden target. There’s something deeply satisfying about hearing the thunk of the axe as it sticks in the board (followed by the cheers of your friend), and that feeling has people hooked.

How does it work?
Group events at Urban Axes last 1.5-2 hours depending on group size and must be booked in advance. All events start with safety instructions and guidance from our fully trained Axepert™ coaches to get everyone throwing safely and comfortably in a private throwing area. Once your group has practiced and feel comfortable, the coach will go over the game play and how it's scored. Your group will then play a series of round robin matches, playing everyone in the group and collecting points. Towards the end of the event, the coach will use all of the points to form a single elimination tournament bracket to determine a champion!
What is the age limit?
You need to be at least 12 years old and with an adult who is 18 or older to access these facilities. On Friday and Saturday evenings after 5pm, everyone must be 21 years or older and present a valid photo ID to enter and participate.
What should I expect?
Expect an engaging and immersive experience that lasts about an hour, with friendly guides to help you along.
Are reservations needed?
Yes. Group events require booking ahead which guarantees your spot and smooth check-in. Walk-ins are available Tuesday-Sunday during walk-in hours. Please check available times before coming in. Group events are offered Tuesday-Sunday with optional catering, corporate, and celebration packages.
Is there parking?
Yes! We have a huge, free, gated parking lot.
